Casino Marbella has once again placed itself at the heart of the national poker scene by hosting the second leg of the Sportium Sixers Poker Series, which took place from 21 to 26 April. Over six intense days of competition, the casino brought together players from across the country, cementing this event as one of the highlights of the professional poker calendar in Spain, thanks to its unique six-player table format.
Throughout the week, the casino’s facilities were once again transformed into a true high-level venue, offering a wide-ranging tournament schedule designed for all types of players. The festival saw over 1,250 entries in total, reflecting the event’s strong reception and the growing interest it generates with each edition.
The Main Event was, once again, the star of the festival, with multiple starting days and different formats that allowed for high participation, reaching 427 entries, far exceeding the figure from the 2025 edition. After several days of intense competition, the best players reached the final stages of the tournament, which culminated on Sunday with the presentation of the iconic SIXERS trophy, bringing a week packed with excitement and strategy to a fitting close.
Alongside the main event, the festival featured a wide range of side tournaments, including the High Roller, which attracted 129 entries, as well as the Mystery Bounty, the Niners and the Closer, all of which featured dynamic structures that maintained a high level of competition from the very first day right through to the end of the festival.
With this edition, Casino Marbella reaffirms its commitment to poker and to organising flagship events, consolidating SIXERS as an unmissable event for both regular players and newcomers alike. The success in terms of attendance and participation makes it clear that SIXERS continues to grow and is already looking ahead to future editions with high expectations.
In addition to its sporting impact, the SIXERS 2026 Festival has had a very positive effect on local tourism.
