The Hotel Emperador Terrace is celebrating 10 years as the leading rooftop venue on Madrid’s Gran Vía

The Hotel Emperador is situated at number 53 on one of Madrid’s most iconic streets, the Gran Vía, and forms part of the Lope de Vega building designed by the architects Julián and Joaquín Otamendi. The building has 232 rooms, 18 suites and 12 function rooms. Built in 1947, the Hotel Emperador welcomed its first guests a year later. Over seven decades, this venue has witnessed major events and anecdotes that have made it a true legend today. The hotel has a second branch in Argentina (Buenos Aires). This contemporary-style hotel, located on Avenida del Libertador, reinforces the group’s international standing. This is the summer programme once again organised by the iconic Hotel Emperador, which has also just opened what is one of the capital’s most sought-after summer swimming pools. And once again, its exclusive programme centres on one of Spanish cinema’s star directors: Pedro Almodóvar.
So, with views of the capital’s skyline, the swimming pool in the background, and Beach Club sun loungers to enjoy the experience with popcorn and a chilled ‘Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios’ cocktail – one of the director from La Mancha’s most iconic films.
