Cap Vermell Grand Hotel Sponsors a Boat for the First Time in the Copa del Rey

Cap Vermell Grand Hotel sponsored a boat bearing its name for the first time in the 44th edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE sailing regatta held in August 2026. The sailboat, a Sinergia 40 of the ORC B class, competed with owner Hernán Mones and an experienced crew.

The crew consisted of Argentine sailors with extensive experience in both the Copa del Rey MAPFRE and some of the most demanding competitions in the Mediterranean and on the international circuit, including Giraglia, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, Antigua Sailing Week, and Ilhabela. Carlos Scorticati and Hernán Mones Ruiz shared the helm, while the sporting strategy was handled by Julio Labandeira, multiple Argentine champion in various classes.
