The leading Spanish firm specialising in interior design solutions is strengthening its international standing with an immersive concept where design, innovation and cutting-edge materials come together to shape a new approach to gathering spaces

Marbella is set to become, once again, the epicentre of interior design from 19 to 29 March. Against this backdrop of creative excellence, Grupo ALVIC, a Spanish firm of international renown specialising in surfaces and solutions for furniture and interior design, is participating alongside architect Marisa Gallo, one of the most acclaimed professionals on the current scene.

In this edition, Gallo presents an auditorium conceived as a space for gathering, connection and collaboration, where ideas come together and the future begins to take shape. Far from being conceived as a traditional exhibition space, the venue is transformed into a stage that comes to life through the magic of images and sound.

“Working with ALVIC’s surfaces has been fundamental to constructing the narrative of the space. Their materials offer a technical and aesthetic quality that allows for the development of highly expressive and sophisticated projects. This is central to this proposal, in which we wanted to create a unique and immersive experience,” explains Marisa Gallo.

An auditorium where technology sparks emotion and connections

The experience begins even before entering the main space, where a monumental screen, designed as a transitional element, stands in the corridor leading to the auditorium. One of the key aspects of this project has been to maintain the mystery of the interior, creating an entrance that invites visitors to explore it.

Visitors enter the auditorium via three distinct entrances: a large central door and two side entrances flanked by steps. The external façade, constructed using ALVIC materials, is clad in the Zenit surface in Cameo, lending depth and a sophisticated character from the very first visual impression.

The main door, in Luxe Red Pompei, acts as a powerful focal point, marking the start of the experience. On either side, the side entrances feature a striped composition in the same shade, combining Luxe and Zenit finishes, where the contrast between the high gloss and the velvety matt finish creates a dynamic interplay of light, reflections and shadows that brings rhythm to the whole.

Once inside, ALVIC’s design language is consistently applied throughout the auditorium’s panelling in Luxe Cameo, enveloping the space in a seamless and refined atmosphere. This material aesthetic also extends to functional elements such as the tables, crafted in Luxe Rojo Pompei, creating pieces with a high-gloss, mirror-like finish that adds dynamism and enhances the user experience.

As they journey through technology, with high-quality image and sound, attendees find in the auditorium an environment that invites conversation, connection and shared enjoyment. Taken as a whole, the space conceived by Marisa Gallo is not merely an exhibition stand, but an immersive architectural vision that demonstrates how ALVIC’s materials can be integrated into all kinds of projects and concepts.

“Marbella Design is a key meeting point for contemporary design and an ideal setting to showcase the creative potential of our surfaces in high-end projects. Taking part in a space designed by an architect of Marisa Gallo’s stature allows us to demonstrate how the technological innovation of our materials integrates into architectural proposals with a strong aesthetic narrative,” says Laura Alarcón, Product Manager at Grupo ALVIC.

ALVIC’s new 2026 collections: technology, design and sustainability

To coincide with its participation in Marbella Design, ALVIC is also presenting its new 2026 collections, a range that reaffirms the company’s leadership in innovation applied to surface design.

The collection introduces 16 new designs of great natural power and versatility in their combinations, conceived as a harmonious universe inspired by the rhythm of the seasons. These designs incorporate technological advances such as three-dimensional optical effects and the integration of real mother-of-pearl powder, capable of bringing visual depth and uniqueness to each panel.

Collections such as Moonlight, Nuvola and Terra explore new textures and high-performance finishes that expand creative possibilities in residential, contract and office projects. Alongside these, Ondara, Lino and the new Solid Colors broaden the scope for combinations, resulting in interiors rich in nuance where each element contributes without dominating.

The new surfaces are available in the brand’s exclusive technologies: Luxe (high gloss), Zenit 3.0 (super-matt) and Syncron (synchronised textured). All are developed under a responsible production model that incorporates up to 76% recycled material, as well as using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests with PEFC and FSC certification.

With these collections, ALVIC reaffirms its vision: to create surfaces that combine technological innovation, aesthetic excellence and environmental commitment, driving a new generation of interiors capable of inspiring and standing the test of time.
