Fine dining in the heart of the old town.

The Essence of Culinary Luxury
The 18th-century building that houses the hotel and its restaurants has undergone a meticulous restoration, revealing important archaeological treasures—from a small hermitage to a 16th-century shrine chamber adorned with original frescoes. Each of the 20 unique rooms has its own character and charm. Some feature spacious terraces, others traditional balconies overlooking the Plaza del Santo Cristo, and some are perched high above the rooftops of the old town, offering a privileged view of Marbella.
According to the spirit of hospitality that characterises it, La Fonda offers a variety of dining experiences, where the menu is inspired by regional Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine, reflecting respect and admiration for local and seasonal products. The restaurants share the same essence: fresh, local, organic and exceptionally cooked ingredients, articulated in four different spaces, each with its own identity.
– La Fonda Restaurant, that was named in 1978 the first restaurant inside of a hotel in Marbella to receive a Michelin Star. Today, it is managed by the great chef Jorge González Carmona, who has a consolidated career at the helm of the Ritz Madrid and Robuchon. There, the essence of culinary luxury can be felt and diners can taste emblematic dishes such as the sea bass supreme in green sauce with squid and courgette tagliatelle or the carabinero carpaccio with its coral oil and sesame tuile.
– Los Patios, a spectacular interior courtyard steeped in history, ideal for outdoor dining with the charm of the old town. In the mornings, this space offers a charming place to enjoy breakfast or, throughout the day, a brunch-style menu. In the mornings, it becomes a charming place for breakfast; in the afternoon, for enjoying a classic cup of tea; and in the evening, for a wonderful dinner with live music
– La Ermita, a magical space that was part of the 16th century chapel of San Sebastián. This venue is ideal for small and private events.
– La Bodega de La Fonda, offers an inmersion in Spanish culinary tradition, offering an authentic experience with tapas and homemade dishes: from the classic Spanish tortilla, melty croquettes, to meatballs in their sauce, each dish is a labor of love and passion for home-style cooking.
La Fonda enhances its offering with an elegant Sky Bar, an exclusive space boasting spectacular views over the old town and the sea. The perfect spot to enjoy expertly crafted signature cocktails alongside a fresh and light menu.
