Part of the MCH group and small luxury Hotel’s of the world the picturesque El Lodge is a gem nestled within the white capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort.
The Sierra Nevada Ski Resort is the most southern ski resort of Europe and the highest mountain range in Spain and the second highest in Europe 3,482 meters.
Ski lovers will be able to enjoy 110 km of ski range, 131 pistes ans 21 remontes.
In 1986 Sierra Nevada was declared Reserva de la Biosfera by UNESCO, and 1999 it was declared a national park due to its alplethora of wildlife and nature.
What makes this ski resort unique is its proximity to the Andalucian sea coast and its view’s over Africa on a clear day!
It is a two hour and half drive from Marbella and 90minutes from the Malaga coast.

El Lodge sister property the Marbella Club has created a ‘Sea & Sierra’, a new twin-centred programme centred around active explorations and nature-based nurturing in some of Spain’s most spectacular landscapes.
Available from 27 November 2020, the new programme also promises guests the unique opportunity to experience both ski and sea within just a few hours.
It boasts a magnificent heated pool with panoramic views over the snow capped mountains and each room inclueds it’s own jacuzzi. The 21 rooms are decorated by the famed interior designer Andrew Martin and the lodge itself is made with the finest Finish timber.
Raquelette and fondue are the star dishes both on the Sun Deck and The Grill. In addition to fresh grilled fish and the best pumpkin soup I have ever tried the Grill’s menu includes Caviar de Riofrio, the first certified organic caviar in the world, which is produced not far from Sierra Nevada.
