COCONUT DREAMS: AN EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE AT PUENTE ROMANO MARBELLA
To celebrate its launch in Spain, The Macallan opened an exclusive space called “Coconut Dreams” at Puente Romano Marbella on August 6th, inspired by the collection’s creative universe. For a limited time—running until August 20th—visitors can immerse themselves in an experience designed around the aromas, flavors, and sensations of The Harmony Collection. They can exclusively sample the new whiskies and enjoy a selection of cocktails created in collaboration with Jordi Roca for this edition.
Conceived to convey the world of The Harmony Collection, Coconut Dreams features an organically inspired setting where curved shapes, wooden slats, natural materials, and a warm color palette evoke the coconut and the Mediterranean summer. Harmonizing with the Puente Romano Marbella surroundings, the space was designed to bring the collection’s universe to life through a journey where design, gastronomy, mixology, and whisky converge.
The opening event brought together prominent figures from the national lifestyle scene—including Carmen Lomana, Javier de Miguel, Nacho Yanes, Javier Sánchez Medina, and Antonio Miranda—who were the first to discover this pop-up space designed to celebrate the launch of the final chapter of The Harmony Collection.
Jaume Ferras, Creative Director at The Macallan, welcomed guests and presented the creative inspiration behind the launch. “The Harmony Collection represents the culmination of a journey defined by curiosity and creativity. This edition brings together whisky-making mastery, material innovation, and immersive storytelling to create a truly harmonious experience.”
The bond between The Macallan and Jordi Roca was also highlighted during the evening by Xecma Misut, a member of the El Celler de Can Roca team. He presented the gastronomic creations devised by the chef for this edition of The Harmony Collection and shared the creative process behind the concept with the attendees. The collaboration between The Macallan and Puente Romano Marbella stems from the affinity between two brands that share a vision of excellence, craftsmanship, and the creation of memorable experiences. A benchmark of Mediterranean luxury—renowned for its gastronomic and lifestyle offerings—Puente Romano Marbella provides the ideal setting for *Coconut Dreams*, an activation that invites guests to discover The Harmony Collection in an environment where design, hospitality, and gastronomy converge to create a unique experience.
THE FINAL CHAPTER OF THE HARMONY COLLECTION
After six years of exploring the connection between nature, creativity, and craftsmanship, The Macallan concludes The Harmony Collection with this final chapter—a limited-edition series that pays tribute to innovation, artisanal excellence, and sustainability through collaborations with some of the most renowned names in the international creative landscape.
Through a carefully curated selection of sherry-seasoned American oak casks and ex-bourbon casks, The Macallan has succeeded in revealing diverse facets of coconut—ranging from fresh, citrusy, and tropical profiles to creamier, toasted, and rich, enveloping notes. The result is two distinct yet complementary expressions that reflect the brand’s technical mastery and unmistakable character.

To bring this collection to life, Jordi Roca drew inspiration from memories, aromas, and textures associated with coconut, translating that vision into The Macallan’s world through a concept that transcends the whisky itself, extending into design, gastronomy, and the sensory experience.
“Collaborating on this new edition has been a thrilling creative journey. By exploring the many possibilities of coconut, we have created a series of offerings that play with textures, contrasts, and balance to accompany and elevate the whisky experience in unexpected ways,” states Jordi Roca.
Accordingly, the chef has developed a series of sweet creations and exclusive pairings that reinterpret the whiskies’ aromatic universe through various textures, contrasts, and nuances. The offering is rounded out by six signature cocktails designed to highlight the different expressions of coconut, ranging from fresh, citrusy, and tropical profiles to creamier, richer interpretations.
Furthermore, to commemorate this collaboration, TimeSpirit—the gastronomic concept created in partnership with El Celler de Can Roca at The Macallan Estate, and the Roca brothers’ first permanent project outside Spain—will feature a special menu inspired by this collection through the end of September. For her part, Kirsteen Campbell, Master Whisky Maker at The Macallan, notes: “With this latest edition of The Harmony Collection, we have brought coconut notes to the forefront through a careful selection of casks and a precise maturation process. The result is two balanced expressions that reflect both the natural influence of the wood and the expertise of our Whisky Mastery team.”

Designed to be enjoyed during the warmer months of the year, these cocktails offer a fresh perspective on single malt Scotch whisky and reflect how The Macallan continues to explore more flexible, social, and contemporary ways to enjoy the spirit.
Jaume Ferras, Creative Director at The Macallan, adds: “The Harmony Collection represents the culmination of a journey defined by curiosity and creativity. This edition brings together whisky-making mastery, material innovation, and immersive storytelling to create a truly harmonious experience.”
True to the collection’s spirit, the launch also features an innovative sustainable design approach. The presentation boxes are crafted from reclaimed coconut fibers—transformed to give organic materials a second life—reflecting The Macallan’s commitment to innovation and the exploration of new materials.
The Macallan Harmony Collection *Inspired by Fresh Coconut* is available starting August 4, 2026, through the brand’s distribution channels, while *Inspired by Toasted Coconut* will be available at select international airports.

About The Macallan
The Macallan is renowned worldwide for its extraordinary single malt Scotch whiskies. More than two centuries have passed since Alexander Reid, the founder of The Macallan, distilled the first batch of whisky in his curiously small stills in Speyside, Scotland, in 1824, marking the beginning of the extraordinary legacy of single malt Scotch whisky.
An obsession with quality and craftsmanship is the hallmark of The Macallan. The exceptional quality and distinctive character of each whisky are shaped by extraordinary sherry-seasoned oak casks and a commitment to natural colour underpinned by mastery. This essential chapter of its story begins in the picturesque region of Jerez, Spain, where its European and American oak casks are crafted and seasoned. The Macallan’s long-standing collaboration with the cooperages and bodegas of Jerez has been fundamental in shaping its signature flavour.
Designed by internationally renowned architects, The Macallan Distillery is situated on a beautiful 485-acre estate and draws inspiration from the ancient Scottish hills that surround it. Crafted without compromise. Please enjoy The Macallan responsibly.
