DAMIANI
A hundred years of craftsmanship, creativity, italian passion, and family.
The history of Damiani is that of an Italian family who have preserved valuable expertise closely linked to tradition: the creation of unique, handcrafted jewellery that is a true work of art, entirely handmade by the master goldsmiths of Valenza. It is here, in Italy’s most prestigious goldsmith district, that the Maison was born a century ago. Since then, three generations have been at the helm of the company.
This evocative journey began with its founder, Enrico Damiani, whose skills as a master goldsmith soon made him a point of reference.
Enrico was succeeded by his son Damiano, whose creative and pioneering spirit saw the need for innovation. This influenced the design of the jewellery, opening it up to new trends, and making it ever more refined to appeal to an increasingly international public.
Damiano’s three children later took over: Guido, Silvia and Giorgio, who decided to continue the Maison’s evolution. The three siblings continue to interpret Damiani’s history of excellence with an innate spirit of innovation.
Today, Damiani stands out in the jewellery world for its unique position as the only international name still present in Valenza.
THE CENTENARY YEAR
To celebrate the brand’s first century of history, the Damiani family has made a decision that is as exciting as it is significant: the Maison has chosen to exhibit a precious collection of rare gemstones, natural works of art with an extraordinary history, majestically brought to life through the skilful craftsmanship of the master goldsmiths of Valenza, guardians of the art of goldsmithing since 1924. The result is a collection of a hundred authentic jewellery masterpieces which embody the continuity of a unique and incomparable artisan tradition that looks to the future.
